REGISTERED VOTERS OF WYANDANCH: My Post “NANCY HOLLIDAY – Black Cowardice – Rumors” Received 2,157 Hits In 2 Days (April 1-April 2). According To The Vote Count, Our Write-In Candidate, Yvonne Holder Robinson, Received Only 27 Votes While Holliday Received 50. This Library Election, Like That Referendum On January 10, Was Stolen. To Prove It, We Need Your Help: If You Voted April 3 And Wrote In “Yvonne Holder Robinson”, E-Mail Me That Fact So We May Get Our Own Vote Count And Challenge This Total. Otherwise It’s 5 More Years Of Holliday’s Theft, Intimidation & Domination. Wyandanch, It’s Up To You!

Once Thieves are in control of counting the Votes, winning an Election to remove them is next to impossible. The GOOD NEWS is that “27 Votes” is an extremely small number to count.

If you voted today, please e-mail me at

Once I receive your responses and that number “27” is passed, we will have PROOF that the ELECTION WAS STOLEN.

If you voted our Write-In candidate,

  1. L. E. Bush says:

In response to your postings regarding the Wyandanch Library, the Staff, as well as the comunity, is unprofessional and unconcerned. Having attended a Class offered by the Library, it was plain to see, things are out of hand, and will stay that way

I, personally, could care less to concern myself with the goings on at this facility. The Staff don’t respect each other, much less the residents of this community. A Staff worker (of West Indian descent), has displayed open disregard of her fellow workers, by expressing her contempt toward the Southern Staff members. This was expressed in a commnity cab, witnessed and overheard by me, unbeknowst to her. I know she was shocked, as she should be, she was “OLD” enough to know better. So much for those “CLASSY, WHEATLEY HEIGHTS RESIDENTS”.

When she realized her contempt was exposed, she SHUT HER BIG MOUTH UP, however, it was a little to LATE.

I live in Wheatley Heights, as well as the Staff member, I will continue to choose to go to the Dix Hills Library, where I won’t openly be viewed, with CONTEMPT.

I commend your attempt to right wrongs in the Town, however, the members of the
community needs alot of Social and Intelligent CLASS. “THEY” will comtinue to do what they do, I refuse to have social or motivational concern.

Keep doing what you’re trying to do. However, these OLD ways of comtempt, us against them, will always prevail. in this Town.

“THEY” won’t change, as long as “THEY”, maintain the us versus them, Wheatley Heights versus Wyandanch mentality.

I PRAY FOR A CHANGE, MAYBE ONE DAY BUT NOT WITH THIS GROUP OF “OLD” BACKWOOD WAYS OF THOUGHTS.

    • Jasper Guerrero says:

The staff really can’t be blamed, the library is not run the way a library should be run. They’ve had how many Directors in how many years. I heard from a member in the community that Civil Service is investigating the library. Librarians are not treated as professionals. A page or clerk does the programming, and oversees the daily operations of the library. Would this fly in a white community? I don’t think so! With no Director, and a Board namely the President who intereferes in the daily operation of the library…of course staff is going to be unprofessional. The Trustees should not interefere with the work of the Director or the librarians. The librarians there seem beaten down. Go to any other library, a Page would not be running the library or be involved in programming. Call Civil Service and demand that they clean house and remove the Board and maybe just maybe things will improve.

  2. A. Johnston says:

I agree with some of L. E. Bush’s comments but the problems at that library are far deeper than an Us vs Them mentality. It’s a plain lack of professionalism and management skills. The people who run the place clearly should not be entrusted to operate anything other than a fast food joint. Unprofessional staff, no resources, and computers that take 30 minutes to start up is exactly why I go to HHH.

The mentality won’t change until the people who run the place do. It’s that simple. Also, the fact that your first post got 2,000+ hits and only 77 people voted is another reason why things won’t change. The people in this town need to wake up. Why should we get better when we don’t demand better.

    • says:

I agree with A. Johnston 100%. To date, I have only received a single reply to my vote tally request. However, I received invaluable data from that single reply. The person, who did reply, spoke for 2 voters. They signed in around 5pm on April 3rd and their numbers were in the low 40s. Apparently when sign in occurred, a consecutive number was assigned on the sign-in page. So less than 80 votes total seems quite plausible.

Nancy Holliday and her cohorts are still just as selfish, evil and felonious, but THE REAL PROBLEM is those WYANDANCH REGISTERED VOTERS, who did NOT VOTE, and those UNREGISTERED VOTERS, who don’t give a damn!

  3. Denise says:

It’s time for the Wyandanch community to wake up and smell the coffee. When the Wyandanch community has had enough of being taken advantage of, only then will they make an attempt to hold the Wyandanch Library Board of Directors accountable for the atrocious decisions they’ve made on behalf of the citizens of Wyandanch.
